Hasapi; lute
Hasapi, a two-stringed lute. The boat-shaped body and integral neck are hollowed out of a single piece of wood. There is a large opening at the back. Two wire strings are fixed to the bridge. There are two lateral pegs. The finial is carved in the shape of a male figure curled around the small scroll that surmounts the pegbox.
