Baritone concertina, English system, single action. Solid, flat rosewood ends in elongated hexagonal shape, 8.12x10.75in/206x273mm, with bevelled edges and simple frets with leather backing. 50 silver-capped nickel buttons: 25 each side. Round-end nickel reeds, pan has all reeds inside chambers on outside. Two valve flaps per pan, central mahogany block. 5-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Dark green leather straps with nickel screws. Oval paper label: 'Manufacture, Hollingworth St, St James Rd, Holloway. Rock Chidley, London, 135 High Holborn'. Serial number: 3898.
