Two-row melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Black-painted softwood ends, 11.69x6.5in/297x165mm. Right-hand with 2 rows of domed brass keys, 10 + 9, and covered pallets under fretted grille. Left-hand with 4 spoon basses, 1 spoon air valve. Steel reeds. Nine-fold bellows, with thick central fold, metal edging and securing clips; tartan papers. Leather thumb strap and hand strap. Silver embossed label in wooden pallet cover: 'Steel Reeds Made in Germany. Registered.' On embossed metal plaque: 'Chromatic Anglo Melodeon.' No serial number.
