Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Black wood ends, 9.25x4.5in/235x114mm; blue painted pallet board. 10 steel-tipped wooden buttons connected to curved tin pallets (2 absent). Two floral embossed stops. Brass reeds on reedplates. Seven-fold paper edged bellows with thick, red central fold; gold-star papers. Fabric straps. Pinned celluloid plaque: 'Messrs Kent & Cooper, Ltd. 20 Leeming St. Mansfield'. No serial number.
