Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Black painted wood ends, 10.38x5.75in/264x147mm, with metal bound corners. Right-hand: 10 pearl-capped buttons each operating level pallets, four reed bank knobs. Left-hand: 2 ivory-tipped bass buttons, 1 air valve. Brass reeds. 11-fold bellows, central fold thicker; metal edged, gold-star papers. Leather thumb strap, fabric hand strap. Bellows frames stamped in silver: 'Champion Gloria Patent Resonator. Separate screwed reed plates, improved reed system, extra broad reeds, finest German manufacture'. No serial number.
