Melodeon
Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Thick rosewood veneered ends, 12.25x7.5in/311x191mm, with front and top panels and hand bar inlaid with pearl flowers and brass wires, with some bone strips. Right-hand: 21 pearl-tipped keys in rows of 11 and 10, on stepped keyboard, screwed on wood levers, including a wide range of homemade replacement pearl tips. Left-hand: 16 pearl-tipped bass buttons, in two rows on stepped keyboard, with long wooden air lever. 16-fold fabric-edged bellows, with metal-framed corners and external frame clips. No label or serial number.
