Harmonieflûte. Plain black wood ends, 18.63x6.63in/473x168mm, with straight sides. Light wood wind chest section fretworked front and rear, with two sprung brass securing buttons. 37 small piano keys: 22 bone natural notes and 15 ebony accidentals, plus bone button controlling dampers stopping off a musette set of reeds, and a lower bone stop controlling internal tremolo. Left-hand end with black wood hand bar with four brass feet and two areas of perforated air valves. Brass-tongued reeds on double or treble brass reed beds. Four-fold blue leather bellows with embossed black papers. Left-hand hand strap added later. Impressed 'signature'-style stamp on front action cover: 'Busson, Paris'. No serial number.
