Harmonieflûte. Plain black wood ends, 18.38x6.25in/467x159mm, with straight sides. Light wood wind chest section fretworked front and rear, with two sprung brass securing buttons. Left-hand end has black wood hand bar with four brass feet, and two areas of perforated air valves. 37 small piano keys: 22 ivory naturals (7 absent), 15 ebony accidentals, plus bone button controlling dampers stopping off a musette set of reeds. Brass-tongued reed on double or treble brass reed beds. 4-fold black leather bellows with black papers. Oval impressed stamp on front action cover: 'Busson, Brevete, Paris'.
