Concertina
Anglo-German system concertina. Varnished wood ends, 6.6in/168mm across parallel sides, with simple frets. 21 plastic-tipped wood buttons, glued to levers: 10 each side + 1 air (6 left-hand and 4 right-hand absent). Reeds riveted to single reed plates. 5-fold green leather cloth bellows with gold star papers. Later black leather straps. Metal embossed plaque pinned to right-hand end frame: 'STAHLTONE', (i.e., 'Steel Reeds'). No serial number.
