Anglo-German system concertina. Flat mahogany ends, 6.19in/157mm across parallel sides, fully fretted. 21 flat bone buttons: 10 each side + 1 air (3 left-hand missing). Round-end steel reeds. 5-fold black leather bellows with gold star papers. Later straps, no screws. Oval paper label: 'SW Kemp, 37 Kingsland Road, London E'. Serial number, in pencil on bellows pan and action: 171.
