Anglo-German system concertina. Flat mahogany veneer ends, 6.69in/170mm across parallel sides, fully fretted with red leather backing. 21 bone-tipped wood buttons, glued to levers: 10 each side + 1 air. Reeds riveted to single reed plates. 6-fold black leather bellows with gold spots and stars papers. Black leather straps with eyelets and two brass pins. Gilt/black labels on upper bellows frames: left-hand: 'Extra Broad Steel Reeds Made in Germany', right-hand: 'Anglo German, Made in Germany'. No serial number. Hexagonal paper-covered wood box with red paper lining.
