Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Ends 11x6.75in/279x171mm, with Tunbridge ware inlay around pallet cover and hand bar, and transfers of a similar design on the other parts. Right-hand: 31 plastic-tipped buttons screwed onto wooded levers in 3 rows: 11 + 10 + 10, on a stepped wood hand bar. Left-hand: 12 similar buttons in 2 rows, plus wooden air lever. Leather shoulder strap and left hand strap. Metal plaque on front panel: 'Fratelli Luigi Fabbrica Armonium', but a circular metal label at the rear of the hand bar is embossed: 'Genuine Steel Reeds, GCF, Made in Germany’. No serial number.
