Whistle; vessel flute
Dog whistle, duct flute. The cylindrical metal tube with a dog’s head cast at the distal end. The dog has an embossed collar with a buckle at the top. A ringlet on the dog’s forehead has a separate ring attached. The underside of the beak is curved. The internal pea is an irregularly shaped pebble. The mouth or window has rounded sides and a notch at the central point of the labium.
