Whistle; vessel flute
Zoomorphic whistle, duct flute. A small terracotta model of the head of an animal with a snout, round embossed eyes and pointed ears. The neck is tapered with an angled mouth hole at the end. The duct is rectangular, although most of its top covering is missing. A round mouth or window is positioned on the top surface, below the ears.The eyes are formed from separate pieces of clay.
