Zhong with Cloud Pattern (Bronze Zhong)
12 studs are broken and missing. Made of bronze, with greyish-brown and light green on the surface and has mud and patina on it. The body of the bell is shaped like a combined pair of tiles. The upper surface (wu) is flat and the two xian points are straight. Incised thick lines are used as frames to define the central panel (zheng), the areas (zhuan) between the studs, the studs and the gu. The mouth (yu) is curved. The cylindrical handle (yong) is short and thick. There are 36 long studs decorating the surface of the bell. The gu and its central areas are decorated with cloud patterns. The areas between the studs are decorated with wavy cloud patterns.
