Boxwood; ivory mounts; ebony mouthpiece: 15 brass keys with round flat covers, 8 mounted in turned blocks and the rest in saddles. Hinged F/C key, the hinge below; the long E/B with levers for both L4 and R4, linked, and also linked to close the F/C key; two separate keys for G sharp/D sharp for L4 and R4, that for L4 formerly (but no longer) linked to the long F sharp/C sharp key; twin-linked keys for LTh for speaker and (together) throat B natural; throat G sharp linked to the A key and opened by the latter; embodying the features of Gutteridge's patents but with some modifications.
