Brass; plated brass mouthpiece: the bell pipe and mouth pipe bound with a hand grip of black cloth which is secured at the end with tricolor bands of lozenge design; a pair of suspension loops at the bows to which is attached a tricolor cord with tassels, the middle pipe being lapped with similar cord: the angled mouthpiece considered authentic; the associated tuning shank of doubtful authenticity.
