Maple; nickel silver mounts, crook and keywork. French system; fifteen keys mounted variously on pillars (one on a base-plate) and saddles; guard for cover of D key on bass joint; C sharp key with touches for both thumbs; hole for LIII metal-lined; two holes on butt apparently plugged and re-bored. Rod-axles used only for crook-key and E flat key on wing, the hole of the latter apparently plugged and re-bored. The crook doubtfully authentic and without hole for crook-key.
