Ebony; ivory mounts: 8 silver plated keys, 5 mounted in turned blocks, 2 on saddles and one on pillars, some being later additions: mouthpiece absent. The C sharp/G sharp and E flat/B flat keys in saddles may be original features; the G sharp key for L1 appears to be a later addition.
