Method of hair tightening: simple screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of Brazil wood, very red, almost burgundy; cross-section: basically round, octagonal for c. 100mm at frog end, from silk/cotton thread wiring. Head: facing: ivory plate which does not embrace the tip, elongated almond shape; rhomboid plane. Frog: made of ivory; on parallelogram plane (almost rectangular) with regular inner c-shape undercutting; cross-section narrows in the middle; after the hair slot there is a slope toward the rear; ivory screw cap has octagonal cross-section; screw made of iron; eyelet of brass.
