Method of hair tightening: frog with screw mechanism & ferrule. Stick: made of ?Brazil wood; cross-section: octagonal; silver-wire winding with black leather grip towards frog. Head: facing: ivory plate in two parts embracing the tip; elongated almond shape; wooden square plug; head is relatively small on trapezoid plane. Frog: not coherent with rest of the bow, probably a replacement of German origin; ebony, on rectangular plane with outer edge rounded; c-shape inner undercutting; mother-of-pearl eyes; brass ferrule; mother-of-pearl slide; silver backplate with engraved and punched decoration; screw cap of an ivory ring with a silver end which is decorated with ornamental punching; screw made of iron; eyelet of brass.
