Method of hair tightening: simple screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of meatwood; cross-section basically round, octagonal for c. 110mm at frog end. Head: facing: plain; elongated almond shape; wooden square plug in the middle; rectangular plane. Frog: made of highly polished ox bone; c-shape undercutting; rectangular plane; ivory screw cap; screw made of iron; eyelet for screw replaced (there are signs of an old one, closer to the button).
