Method of hair tightening: frog and hair missing; probably had simple screw mechanism. Stick: made of ?pernambuco; cross-section: basically round, octagonal for c. 180mm at frog end. Head: very narrow (29x8); facing: made of ox bone (yellow) embracing the tip; elongated almond shape. Frog: missing.
