Method of hair tightening: screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of dark brown ?pernambuco; cross section octagonal; no grip present, but there are marks from leather padding 70mm long, 103–173mm from the frog end. Head: facing: ivory strip also embraces the tip; almond shape; trapezoid plane. Frog: solid ebony; almost rectangular plane with c-shape inner undercut; mother-of-pearl eyes; rear end has trapezoid cross-section; screw cap of ebony, tip with iron eye (from the screw); screw made of iron; eyelet of brass.
