Method of hair tightening: simple screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of exotic wood, dark brown with a hint of dark red; cross section round, octagonal for c. 170mm a frog end; no padding or wiring. Head: facing: plain; square plane; square wedge. Frog: made of ivory; trapezoid plane with a simple c-shape inner undercut and rear corner rounded; slightly tapered toward stick edge; screw cap made of ivory (a part of the tip missing); screw made of iron; eyelet of brass.
