Bow

Method of hair tightening: simple screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of ?pernambuco, dark brown with a hint of dark red; cross section round, octagonal for c. 220mm at frog end; no wiring; brown snake skin padded grip. Head: facing: plain; trapezoid plane; small trapezoid plug. Frog: made of ivory; parallelogram plane with a inner c-shape undercut and rear corner rounded; slightly narrowed towards the middle; screw cap made of ivory with a circular but flat tip; screw made of iron; eyelet of brass.
