Method of hair tightening: simple screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of exotic wood, medium dark brown; cross section round, octagonal for c. 160mm at frog end; no grip. Head: facing: plain; rhomboid plane; small trapezoid plug. Frog: made of ivory; rectangular plane with inner c-shape undercut and rear corner perpendicular; rear edge cross section slightly tapered towards the middle; screw cap made of ivory, octagonal cross section; screw made of iron; eyelet of brass.
