Method of hair tightening: frog and hair missing. Stick: made of ?pernambuco, burgundy colour, finely polished; cross section round, octagonal only after thick brown leather padded grip; no thread winding; later silver ring intended to strengthen the end of the stick. Head: facing: ebony strip; triangular plane; hollowed hole for trapezoid plug. Frog: missing. Twisted towards the head and bent.
