Method of hair tightening: frog and hair missing. Stick: made of unidentified medium dark brown wood; cross section round, octagonal for c. 70mm at frog end; padding with black thin leather, no thread. Head: facing covered with inner strip of ebony and outer of ivory, both strips embracing the tip; trapezoid plane; hollowed hole for trapezoid wedge. Frog: missing.
