Drum, single-headed (tabor). Wooden support, skin head attached by metal studs. Used by the Julian Bream Consort for Bream's setting of the courtly dances from 'Gloriana' (Benjamin Britten, 1953). This version was released on RCA Victor Red Seal SB-6635, 1965. The performers were Julian Bream lute; Olive Zorian violin; David Sandeman flute; Joy Hall bass viol; Desmond Dupré bass viol; Robert Spencer tabor.
