Viola

This viola was produced Gilbert in 1913, and was presented to the museum in 1954 by his daughter Kate. Jeffrey James Gilbert, one of Britain's top provincial violin and string instrument makers, produced hundreds of musical instruments from his studio at 2 New Priestgate, Peterborough.
