Flute. Nominal pitch: C.
Technical description: Ebony; 5 sections; 6 ivory ferrules plus cap; silver keys; metal-lined head; graduated tuning-slide and screw-stopper (6 gradations); cap domed, perhaps to take increased length of screw due to large number of gradations; oval embouchure-hole; G♯ key-hole on lower body. Keymount type: metal saddle. Keyhead type: heart-shaped, curved to fit body of instrument. Repair History: Mount at bottom of tuning-slide section appears to be a replacement (different colour ivory).
