Technical description: The round, concave, brazilwood stick ends in a modern head with an ivory headface. The screw-mechanism, squared (without sharp corners) ebony frog has mother-of-pearl decorative eyes which are set towards the heel. (The back edge of one of the decorative eyes is 11.8mm from the heel.) The frog has a wooden ferrule wedge, a mother-of-pearl slide and a metal ferrule, underslide, and heelplate.
