Violin.
Technical description: Soundboard of spruce; back, ribs, head and neck of sycamore; pegs, fingerboard, tail-gut protector and endpin of ebony. Soundboard of one piece, wide grain on the bass side, close grain towards the treble. Arch of soundboard 15mm. Ebony/sycamore/ebony purfling. Golden red varnish. Mark where the chin has rested on the soundboard. One piece back of well figured wood rising from left to right, ribs also well figured. Back arch 13mm. Head and neck of one piece. Neck length 119; fingerboard length 246, 22.0 wide at nut, 38.1 wide at bottom.
