Technical description: Slightly conical pipe of heavy, dark wood with small hole at top for staple; 7 finger-holes on top, thumb-hole at rear; stitched linen rope wound around neck; bell diameter 30; ivory pirouette, diameter 81-84, formerly attached by string.
