Musical box.
Technical description: Steel comb of 77 teeth. Inlaid wooden box. Compass E♭₂, B♭₂ then 4₁/3 octaves E♭₄ to E♭â₈ plus Fâ₈ and Gâ₈. With optional damper on central portion of comb to give harp effect. Mandoline effect given by rapid repetition of same note on different teeth. Lever wind. Plays eight tunes: Ai*eda, Marche Egyptienne, Verdi; Faust, Valse, Gounod; Carmen, Toriador en garde, Bizet; Le coeur et la main, Chanson du casque, Lecoq; En Revenant de la Revue, Desormes; Laura, Valse de l'Op Bettelstudent, Suppé; Le tour de la Nuit, Motif polka, Lecoq; Bicycle, Galop Final, André.
