Technical description: Cocus wood with silver ferrules and keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Ebonite mouthpiece [not original] with a long table, not grooved for cord, with ligature and reed-cap. Barrel long and hardly bulbous. Upper section: curved speaker, speaker hole on the front of the instrument, chimney. Wood on the back recessed to fit the speaker touchpiece.Barret action: spectacle corresponding with two vents and a side key for R1 which enables the player to play F₄/C₆ and E♭₄/B♭₅ by using the same side key. Additional throat trill key for R1. Tone-hole drilled through long tenon on upper section. Lower section: patent Csharp with closed vent. Thumb rest. Ebonite rollers on L4 and R4 touchpieces, and on cross keys for L3 and R3. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throatA♮. L2: T; throatA♭. L3: T; cross E♭₄/B♭₅. L4: C♯₄/G♯₅; E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅.
