Bass valve trombone. Nominal pitch: F.
Technical description: Brass; german silver stay mounts, bow guards and garland. Short model; loop in bell section. Garland width 30. Water-key on main tuning-slide. Length of shorter leg of m.t.s. 130, allowing increase of air column length by nearly 260mm. Valve type: 3 rotary valves; clock springs in drums, cork buffers mounted on valve spindles.
