Marching bugle. Nominal pitch: 4-ft C.
Technical description: 2 coils; brass; ligature tuning slide gives the instrument liberal tuning from B♮ to C. Two brass ferrules. Flared trumpet-like bell. Mouthpiece receiver is almost parallel, unlike the external taper of the original mouthpiece.
