One-string fiddle.
Technical description: Neck length 653, neck width 21; horn length 245, horn diameter at bottom 18.1, at top 225. Body of mahogany, the fingerboard painted black. Brass banjo type tuning peg. 4 inlaid dot markers on the fingerboard. The bridge has a mahogany cover, which has been screwed on from the left hand side. Tail pin at the bottom. Nut of ivory. There is a base at the bridge end, carved to shape for the player's knees. Fold over scroll without any carving.
