Valved horn. Nominal pitch: F etc.
Technical description: Very heavy; brass with german silver fixed mouthpipe, garland, stays etc. Single-seamed bell, garland width 43. Looped tuning-slide (for E ?). Loops in 1st and 3rd valve tubes. Valve type: 3 rotary valves. Corks on fixed valve cap; clocksprings in drums. Valve touch / spring assembly mounted on plate fixed to and projecting from tube.
