Mounted bars, possibly from vibraphone. Nominal pitch: F.
Technical description: Diatonic octave F-F of steel bars, possibly from vibraphone, width 52-56, thickness 6.7-6.2, lengths 257-338; mounted on wooden frame, but supports not at correct nodal position. Frame is home-made stained wood. Bars sit on pieces of rubber-backed carpet which dampen them. Repair History: Some of the bars appear to have been re-tuned by grinding or filing.
