Baritone saxhorn. Nominal pitch: B♭.
Technical description: Brass, 3 valves; valves 3 and 1 have two loops from low on the casing to high on the casing, the shorter of the two loops in the windway when the valve is not operated, the longer in the windway when the valve is operated; this design obviates sharp bends in the coquilles. Circular, bell-up wrap. Fitting for music card-holder. Valve type: 3 Périnet-type valves, bottom sprung; alignment by key on piston.
