Valve tenor trombone. Nominal pitch: C.
Technical description: Brass. Stockings on tuning-slides; long slides on 3rd v.t.s, allowing increase of air-column length by c250mm. Valve type: 3 rotary valves, with cork buffers on rotors and 'Mainz' leaf spring action. Repair History: The main section and the bell section probably did not originate together.
