Cornet. Nominal pitch: B♭ etc, with alternative mouthpipe for C.
Technical description: silver-plated brass; two water-keys; fitting for music card holder, clamping on outer leg of 3rd v.t.s. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top-sprung, spring inside hollow stem; alignment by (slightly unequal) spacing of 3 lugs on spring anchor plate.
