Technical description: Blackwood with german silver ferrules and keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Probably original ebonite mouthpiece with a ligature. Curved speaker with chimney on front of instrument. Long tailed throat A♭ indicates that the instrument was made for the British market. Barret action. R1 tone-hole through tenon of upper section. Plate for R2 to avoid finger spacing. Ring for R3. Csharp mechanism. All tenons and sockets lined with german silver. 13keys, 3rings, 1plate, 4ebonite rollers. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throat A♮.
