English flageolet
This is an English system flageolet, where the fingering is similar to that of a conventional duct flute, or recorder. Technically, it is a duct flute made of stained boxwood, in four sections (mouthpiece pipe, windcap, window-joint, and main body), with a bone mouthpiece and ferrules. It has one nickel-silver key with flat, round-covers, mounted on bottom raised ring.
