Side Drum, brass, 1903; captured by the Royal Munster Fusiliers from a German Infantry Regiment; plain with ‘115 R III B 1903 10 C III’ impressed into the metal to the left; the front bears a metal plaque inscribed with regimental name and commemoration; shell also bears a motto; flesh hoops and drum heads whole; copper cord hoops with five iron tensioning screws; demi lune snare beds on lower cord hoop; broad wire carrying handle; three hole iron pick up on upper hoop and wing nut threaded hook.
