Clarinet in B-flat
Clarinet made of boxwood, in four sections (barrel, upper joint, lower joint, and bell) with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Thirteen early modern style cup keys mounted in posts with rods (12 keys and 2 rings), with flat springs attached to keys and needle springs. Brille key at lower joint. Wrap-around register key. Wooden mouthpiece with nickel silver ligature and wooden mouthpiece cap. Nominal pitch: B-flat. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
