Flageolet
Duct flute of boxwood made in four sections (window-joint, upper, middle and foot joints), with ivory mouthpiece. The form and fingering of the body suggests that this instrument may have had an extra head to be used as a transverse flute. One straight flat, square-cover, brass key mounted on foot stock bulge, and flat spring attached to key. Cylindrical bore. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
